Your Experience
Your journey begins with Brunch with Bucks Fizz served on the outward journey from London. On arrival at York you are taken on a guide tour of Castle Howard where afternoon tea is served.

Enjoy dinner on board as the Northern Belle continues travelling north, offering spectacular views of the historic cities of Durham and Newcastle on the River Tyne. On arrival in Edinburgh, transfer to your chosen hotel for two nights.

Spend your time in Edinburgh exploring its many attractions both old and new, from the historic castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, to the many galleries and shops. A voucher is provided for the Hop on Hop off city bus tour which helps set the scene.

Transfer to Edinburgh airport on Sunday for your early afternoon British Midland flight to London Heathrow Airport.

Hotel information: "Caledonian Hilton" - 251 rooms. Built in 1903, centrally located on Princes Street in the heart of the city, and offering extensive lounge and bar areas.

Smart day wear is appropriate. You are asked not to wear jeans or trainers on board the Northern Belle. Please remember you will be outdoors for part of your time in York. This journey is rated as reasonable for passengers with special access needs.
