Full Day Adventure - Wales

The Experience
You'll get the chance to take part in two half day adventure sessions:                                                         1) Coasteering, which involves making your way along the awe inspiring North Pembrokeshire coastline at sea level where you’ll find yourself swimming into sea caves, climbing up through natural rock arches, flinging yourself from towering vertical rock faces, and perhaps even swimming with Atlantic grey seals.                                                                                                                                         

2) Sea Kayaking, which is an awesome and low impact way of exploring the coastline line - and on this half day introductory session you'll get the chance to master key skills, as well as taking a trip along the Pembrokeshire National Park coastline; where seals, sea birds, sea caves, deserted sandy beaches and swirling ocean swells combine to make this a real sea kayakers paradise.

Vital Information
We welcome adults of 18 years and older. You don’t need to have previous experience and you don’t need to be particularly outdoorsy, just come equipped with a ‘go for it’ attitude and a sense of fun!  Participants will need to have a reasonable general level of fitness and to be able to fit into a wetsuit, and will be asked to fill in a medical declaration form on arrival at the lodge.  All participants need to be able to swim to take part in the water-based activities.

The Weather
Coasteering can in general take place whatever the weather, with plenty of venues we'll choose a location to suit the weather and the requirement of the group - bigger waves often mean more excitement - and we offer coasteering sessions year round, as we make sure that you'll be toasty warm in a full body winter wetsuit.  Having a choice of venues means that we can find a sea kayaking spot to suit the conditions and the requirements of the group.  However, in extreme weather conditions, kayaking will take place at a sheltered inland location if it is not possible to get onto the sea

Session Length
This is a full day experience, A full day - you’ll arrive for about 9.15am, and your day will finish by about 5.30pm.  We’ll have a short break for lunch - you’ll need to bring your own packed lunch or we can arrange a hot home cooked lunch here at the lodge.

Group sizes vary - but you can be assured that you'll always have an appropriate client to instructor ratio.

Spectators
This adventure activity will take part along the Pembrokeshire coastline. It might be possible to view the activity from some points along the Pembrokeshire coastal path, but this can't be guaranteed.  Please contact us for more specific details..  

What To Wear
You'll receive a full kit list before your experience - but all you'll need are some trainers that can get wet, a towel, and your bathing suit to wear underneath your winter wetsuit and other kit, which will be provided
