The Murder Mystery Weekend for Two brings classic detective fiction to life through an interactive story led by professional actors. Created by Joy Swift, these original events have entertained guests for more than four decades.
You’ll arrive at your hotel expecting a peaceful weekend, but the story begins almost immediately. During dinner, the first incident unfolds, sparking a chain of discoveries that deepen the mystery. Guests become part of the investigation as they gather clues and piece together motives.
Unlike other murder mystery events, which often limit the action to short evening performances, this experience runs continuously from Friday evening until Sunday morning. The weekend includes every meal, with Saturday lunch and a traditional cream tea as part of the package. A lively party night on Saturday adds to the fun, while the professional Murder Weekend team presents a full plot with multiple victims and suspects for you to question.
Throughout the experience, each scene adds a new layer to the story. You’ll share theories with fellow guests, analyse clues, and work together to solve the case before the final reveal.

Important Information
Guests of all ages can take part in a weekend of mystery and detective work. The challenge is keeping up with the twisting plot as it develops from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon.
Some storylines may include themes better suited to older participants, similar to what you’d see in a typical crime drama. A minimum age of 16 is recommended, though teenagers aged 14 and above may join when accompanied by family.

Spectators
Unfortunately spectators are required to purchase additional vouchers and are unable to watch you enjoy this experience.
What To Wear
Attire should be smart, please do not wear jeans or trainers.
Availability
This experience operates on selected dates throughout the year depending on the location, usually starting on Fridays. We recommend a booking at least four weeks before date requested.
