This informative Boston wine tour will teach you about varieties of grapes, food pairings and a little history about North End whilst you have plenty of fun.
You will explore the wines of Tuscany, Piedmont and Abruzzo at top quality North End destinations, where a wealth of knowledge will be shared by the wine ambassadors.
The venues you will visit during the tour are Gennaro's 5 North Square and Artu Rosticceria Trattoria or Tresca or Massiminos.
Gennaro's 5 North Square
Gennaro’s is located at 5 North Square – the oldest square in America, a quiet retreat located steps from busy Hanover Street. With it’s cobblestone streets and gas lampposts, North Square is one of the most romantic spots in the North End and Boston. The cuisine at Gennaro’s is traditional Italian home cooking with fresh seafood specialties served daily.
Calamari Fritta and Mushroom Torte will be paired with Sicilian Regaleali Bianco and Veneto's Allegrini La Grola.
Artu Rosticceria Trattoria or Tresca or Massiminos
On the second stop in the North End you will sample delicious Italian varietals paired with wonderful Northern Italian specialties. Our wine ambassadors hold discussions about wine regions in Italy.
Bruschetta with Broccoli Rabe, Cannellini, Garlic, Olive Oil and Grana Padano will be paired with Planeta le Segreta and Rocca delle Macie.
