The experience
Drive a snowcat - a dream come true! On arrival day, Friday, you meet with the other participants and the instructor in the evening at the hotel in Innerkrems, a ski village between Salzburg and Klagenfurt. Usually, then the group eats dinner together and the first questions are answered. If you want to arrive later, you can join the group on Saturday morning at 08:30 at breakfast. At about 09:30, a chairlift takes you up the mountain to a hight of about 2,000 meters above sea level. After a brief instruction and theory the real fun begins: you are now ready to drive the snowcats. While driving the snowcat you will be under constant surveillance, and with assistance of the instructor. Near the route there is a mountain lodge for lunch or to warm up for accompanying persons. At about 16:00 the group heads back again to the hotel, then there is a possibility to ride as a co-pilot with the pros at the slope preparation. Those who want to take some time to rest can use the spa area of the hotel. In the evening the group enjoys another dinner together. Sunday is the day of departure, or at leisure.
Accompanying persons are welcome and can be at the groomers to watch, in the ski chalet or skiing to pass the time. Please note that accompanying persons will be charged € 195 each and must be booked in advance.

In order to participate in this experience, you may not be pregnant and have no diseases of the spine.

With too little snow the date has to be postponed.
Session Length
The total duration of this experience is 3 days (arrival on Friday with the first meeting at 19:30, the end of the event is on Sunday at approximately 10:00).
Numbers
10 to 12 people will attend per session.
Spectators
Yes, escorts can be booked for € 195, - and are able to stay together with the participants in a double room, also all transportation and all meals are included with the group and the accompanying persons may be at the event at all time. Accompanying persons, however, are not allowed to ride in the snowcats themself. If, for example, the escort prefers to go skiing during the event we can provide you with the contact details of the hotel and then the accompanying person can book for themselves.
What To Wear
We recommend warm winter clothes with ski pants, anorak, cap, gloves and winter boots.
