What payment methods can I use?

We accept all major credit and debit cards.  We also accept other online payment methods such as PayPal, although these may vary depending on your country. We don’t accept physical payments such as cheques or bank transfers.

Can I check availability before I purchase?

That depends on the information the experience provider is able to share with us. Some of our experiences may offer a guide as to the date ranges available. Others, such as luxury train journeys, which are only available on specific dates, will state the date of those journeys. For most experiences, unfortunately it is not possible to check availability prior to your purchase.

Can I use a discount code?

Absolutely! If you’ve found one of our discount codes, just pop it in at the checkout and your discount will be applied.

How can I give an experience as a gift?

When you purchase an experience, you are buying a voucher code that can be used to book that (or any other) experience. Simply pass the confirmation email on to your recipient or upgrade to a physical voucher for them to open.

I live aboard, can I still purchase?

You sure can! Our experience vouchers can be bought from anywhere in the world.

How can I get an instant gift voucher?

When you purchase a gift, you’ll instantly be sent a voucher code via email.

My experience only states adults, can my children come as well?

Some experiences count children as adults. Some allow children to come along free of charge. It really is dependent on the experience. If you’re considering booking an experienced and you’d like to bring your kids along, get in touch and we’ll find out if it’s possible.

Can I bring spectators?

This is totally dependent on the experience, but most do allow you to bring spectators along with you.

What if I need to cancel an experience?

If you’ve paid for an experience, you can either keep the voucher code and use it on something else or request a refund. If you’ve already booked your experience and have set a specific date, you’ll need to contact the experience supplier directly to discuss cancelation.

Will the price be visible on the voucher?

No, only you will know how much the voucher cost.

Why do some experiences require immediate booking?

Certain experiences, such as luxury train journeys, are only available on set dates. These experiences must be booked when you purchase the voucher. This is because prices can vary depending on date and there will also be limited availability for each day or session.

Isn’t it cheaper if I just go direct?

Buying through Golden Moments gives you and your recipient the flexibility to book the experience at a convenient time. Our gift vouchers also have a lifetime value, meaning you don’t have to book straight away and can effectively delay booking. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure we pay them a fair fee for advertising their experiences, but this gives us the flexibility to offer discounts and special offers.

In short, there may be occasions where it is cheaper going direct, but booking through us gives peace of mind, flexibility, and a wide range of choice.
