The Experience

This is an excellent gift for any flying enthusiast. You can give them the choice of flying a fixed-wing plane or a microlight for an unforgettable hour where they will be in complete control.

They can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and leave the traffic behind with our fantastic one hour flying lesson.

When they arrive at the airport they will receive a pre-flight briefing before being escorted to the aircraft by their qualified flight instructor to take their seat in the cockpit.

Following take off they will be given full control and, with expert guidance and supervision from their instructor, they will be shown how to exercise some of the basic manoeuvres of flying whilst enjoying the stunning aerial views.

Vital Information

Participants should be aged over 18. Maximum height is 6'6". Maximum weight is 24 stone (152.4kg)

Flights from Weston Airport, Dublin are only available for 50 minutes.

The Weather

The weather may affect the ability to enjoy this experience. In bad weather, the participant should call the location the day before to ensure the experience is going ahead.

Session Length

The flying lesson will last 1 hour.

Numbers

The voucher is just for one person - the flight instructor will join them in the aircraft.

Spectators

Depending on the location, spectators can join you at take-off and are allowed to take photos of you flying away!

We recommend booking 3-4 weeks in advance, particularly for weekend dates. The availability depends on the location.
